Tima RiahiPainter and PhotographerTima Riahi is an Iranian Photographer, painter, and documentary maker, most well known for her photography based on Southern Cyprus. Tima Riahi uses her photography to create mesmerising images that dig deep below the surface of her subjects.
Tima was born in Iran and grew up in the capital Tehran. She studied Art and psychology and obtained her bachelor’s degree. She migrated to southern Cyprus and continues her studies, a master’s degree in fine art (MFA) from the creative art academy (CAA) in Limassol.
Her work is based on aesthetic in human body, portraits, and interpretation of the photographs by using psychoanalysis.
She experiments with ‘old’ and ‘new’ techniques, capturing beauty based on aesthetic vision. She looks at the photographs creating and merging with digital painting.
