The big finale with the Italian DJ Roberto Ugolini

ITALY

Roberto Ugolini

Roberto Ugolini, aka Deejay Roberto Ugolini, born in Switzerland but I have been living in Italy since the age of 3. I started “fiddling” with the Lenco turntables at 33/45/78 rpm and a very simple mixer, it was 1985, a year younger than that. After a few years I started making cassettes, one of which came into the hands of the Dj Alessandro Renzini, who at that time was working at the Nemesis disco in Città di Castello, called me and gave me the opportunity to put records at the beginning and end of the evening … this is where my experience in the clubs started … springboard, thank you still alessandro for this. After the experience at Nemesis I find myself at the Formula One disco, also in Città di Castello (Pg) … it was exactly the 1991/1992 season with the new management Muscinelli,(Enzo and Giuseppe) Here too it was a great opportunity to let me know.
Before Formula One there were Summer Seasons in Misano adriatico At the Bobo Discotheque, the Evenings at the Indies of Cervia, at Barcelona in Rimini at the Prometeo discotheque in Ostia, at the Veleno in Rome, the Terme disco in Bagno di Romagna, the Discoteca City alle Balze, the Boom of Vicenza, Par Hasard (Abano Terme) without forgetting the fantastic Thursdays at the Kinky in Bologna, Bedroom Club (Bulgaria, Sofia) There are still a few names missing, but alas I don’t remember.

I would like to underline the “stratospheric” Friday night of the Mojito Disco (formula one), the multiple evenings at the Scorpion in Sansepolcro (Ar) together with a lifelong friend and colleague, Andrea, (also called the shark). I also thank all colleagues deejay that I have met in my path, in my life, each of them has given me stimuli and indications to improve both musically and technically, Thanks.
Let’s talk about my musical genres, starting from the 70s / 80s, from the Italian Disco 80’S to Pop, to Italian Music, from Acid House to Classic House & Old School, 90s, House & Pop, Soul & Funky, R&B.

Two Favorite Songs?
Michael Jackson – You’are Not Alone (Franctified Club Mix) David Morales & Janice Robinson – There Must Be Love (World Radio Mix)
